Tecnomatix® Plant Simulation software allows the simulation and optimization of production systems and processes. Using factory simulation, you can optimize material flow, resource utilization and logistics for all levels of factory planning from production facilities, through local factories, to specific lines.

Plant Simulation helps to create digital models of logistics systems (for example, production), so that it is possible to explore the characteristics of the systems and optimize their performance. The digital model allows users to run hypothetical experiments and scenarios without affecting existing production systems or, when used in the planning process, well before the actual system is installed. Comprehensive analysis tools, statistics and graphs allow users to evaluate different manufacturing scenarios, and make quick and reliable decisions in the early stages of production planning.

• Improved services configuration with individual priority end efficiency values for operator services
• Generalized carry-part functionality for operators, now also supporting main parts at assembly stations or pick and drop parts at conveyors
• Automatic route calculation for AGV driving along a network of marker
• Part/MU accumulation with a fixed gap on conveyor objects
• A production list for fluid sources, where you now can define a sequence of fluids to be produced
• Using the Teamcenter Study Manager to define a scope of data, that shall be transferred and used in Plant Simulation
• Several 3D visualization and performance improvements
• Enhancements for VR and Virtual Commissioning use casse
